Well, in the earliest days of photography, the photo they wanted of some political figures just never existed, so -they photoshopped it !
They did have a photo of John Calhoun, so they put Lincoln's head on his body and got the photo of a heroic standing Abraham Lincoln.

John C. Calhoun had been long dead before anyone heard of Abe Lincoln what are you getting at and OH MY GOD TWO YEARS AGO, REALLY?

John C. Calhoun did, indeed, live a generation before Lincoln and a portrait of him had the right pose, but Lincoln failed to be photographed in that pose...
I was talking about the statement by you that the right facial expressions were photoshopped onto bodies in the right poses.
If the pic was indeed 2 years old, then I SHOULD have asked you NOT to flame me for replying to an old post. I just discovered it !
