Interesting how when you said "Mary" everyone assumed you meant the Virgin Mary. I didn't think of that at all until I read the comments; she looks more like a nun or a widow to me (dressed in black).
Great job, I love the simplicity of the face, it's something I tend to do in traditional art and in writing (simplicity/conciseness) but I do the exact opposite in crafting!

Her face is absolutely amazing! Though I'm not a Christian I rather like their imagery in art (icons and the like), espcialy the image of Mary. And this is probably one of the best Marys I've seen. Very original and unique. She has both a primitive and highly futuristic look about her.
