Very cool; Interesting composition, and I like the color scheme.

Super job man
I've been following that thread closely too, Taurus66's Bulber work is awesome and being able to convert the Bulber view to MB3D is cool because I have a bunch of Bulber Prams but don't like Bulber because it is so slow. The only problem is most of the conversions end up being real slow in MB3D too.

lol, yeah, this one wasn't exactly fast, although I have done worse ones (for speed I mean, of course I have done many worse fractals LOL)
I have another I will post later today that started with the snake params, but I added ABoxMod1 and got something entirely un-snake-like... but still rather neat.
I should probably go back and check out more of the thread, I had not known if any others were posted, somebody here had posted a journal about this set and I saw you gorgeous tweak, and wanted to try those, but I had not bothered to follow thew thread any further, thanks for reminding me!
and thanks for the comment!

Did you grab Jesse's little Bulber to MB3D X-Y-Z converter program in the thread. I'm still trying to figure out how to apply that to Converting Bulber params to MB3D, that's what I get for not paying attention in Math Classes.

no I didn't, in fact I wasn't even aware there was one... I had not actually read the thread, just grabbed those parameters... I meant to go check the rest of the thread yesterday and then forgot lol
If I find it and figure it out, I'll let you know... but I don't even know where to find any good Mandelbulber parameters... I guess there might be some on FF... never bothered to look before

yes, has a bit of fungus look too... the original on FractalForums (as well as Len's tweak of that) look very much like cobras, I wanted to keep that look but not be too close, unfortunately these parameters are extremely touchy, any major change to the variable and you loose the snake totally, but I found minor adjustment to the julia settings allows it to keep some of the snake look but still make it different enough to not be a rip-off...

thanks! the green (actually its more of a yellow but against the surface it can look somewhat green) is Mandelbulb's Fog effect, and there is some DoF added, MB has a built-in DoF function if one chooses to use it
