When you think about how the EM-Spectrum works, firing the ENTIRE Visible-Spectrum at once would actually do the most damage, since it wouldn't matter what color the material is, the energy absorbed would still be huge (see those sparkly things? That's the air around the beams being IONIZED).
Considering this beam has enough energy to ionize the air around it (not even directly in it's path), this dragon possesses quite possibly the most powerful weapon mankind has ever seen...
