Description
Union of the Nordic Kingdoms... a fictional nation part of my fanfics; it consists of twelve Nordic kingdoms (three Atlantic, six Scandinavian, and three Baltic) unified under an intergovernmental nation.

Intergovernmental - Being or occurring between two or more governments.
In this case, the governments of the kingdoms share governing power over the union. The overseeing power of the union is known as the Nordic Council: the council is made up of the actual kings and/or queens (and if neither are present, then the kingdoms' prime ministers are sent to represent)

This is part one of a series of information, both type-written and art-like, about the Nordic Union. I wanted to do this to give people a realistic feel on the nation and think of it not only as just a fictional country, but as something that's a bit real as well.

Letter from the artist:
This is to clarify that most of the information given to the public are not real; as with this artwork (a list of the coat of arms of each kingdoms including the Union). Though some of the coat of arms are real, there are some, if not all, have been edited to suite the fictional situation. I wanted to make the Nordic Union as real and fictional (a mix of both) as much as I can.

EDIT:
I added my dA ID as a special signature imprinted on the artwork as an anti-theft procedure to prevent my artwork from getting stolen.
