I havent drawn a TMNT in almost 20 years. The last one I remember doing was
Leonardo when I was back in high school (late 80's). I dug it out of the closet for you all to laugh at... you can check it out here--> [link] Anyway, I thought
Michelangelo would be cool since I myself am almost a nunchaku master... I've had bruised elbows most of my life to prove it 
This piece was done with non-photo blue pencils, scanned, then inked in Illustrator. When I got some time this week I'll try throwing down some color...

Thanks. Working in Adobe Illustrator keep my lines crisp everytime. His pose is typical tmnt, not much room to move in sewers

BLARGH! i put this on my desk top... and.... Photoshop CS3 is GONE lol... i forgot my demo ran out and i won't be buying it for another few days!
i'll color it in about a week then... LOVELY lines... not a huge TMNT fans, but i fell in love with the lineart... and he's got the orange bands, right?

nice use of illustrator. I'd really like to know your technique- I use illustrator quite a bit... but this is pretty darn good.

It really isnt that hard. I use a Wacom, but I dont use any brushes, I use them now and then for different effects, but not for this one. I've been using Illustrator since version 88 (which was v2 I think) and the pen tool is now like an extension of my hand...

This is such a great dynamic pose! I totally dig the line quality especially around the knuckles and the ankles. I can't wait to see this one in color.
