Con la serie di Cappuccetto stavo proprio cercando di coniugare colore e spazio bianco del foglio.
Ogni tanto vedo cose spettacolari in questo senso... (beh, la prima a cui penso è anche se ha uno stile completamente diverso dal mio), ma bisogna avere in mente già tutto, oltre alla capacità di mettere su carta quello che immagini.
Io mi fermo a metà, cioè ho in mente quello che voglio, ma sto ancora lavorando sulla capacità di ottenerlo (eh eh)

beh si la nachi fa cose diversissime comunque si,ha un uso dell'area di colore e del bianco bilanciatissimi, la ammiro molto *_*

Thanks. I think compositions is the term, it sounds nearly like the italian COMPOSIZIONE ^^
I got some lessons, some years ago, to learn the illustrations tecniques, and my teacher explained us how to decide the composition of an illustration. Where does the eye of the watcher go? What do you want to show and how?
I also understand that the characters don't need to be always at the centre of the scene, but they have to be highlighted in some way. Maybe with colours, maybe with other forms converging toward them.
(well, maybe you're not so much interested ^^ eh eh)

this is a subject of matter to me
i´ve been studing this kind of stuff as well and i realized that after a while.. it kinda goes istintivectly...

Yes, sometimes it happens to me too. I realize there's something wrong in my illustration ^^' But it's a kind of study I really like, looking for a new path, everyday, never still.
