Witness the power of nature...

Eleventh Hour Gulch in Spearfish Canyon, SD is definitely a must-see It's just off the highway near Kissing Rocks, but if you're not looking for it, it's easy to miss. On the wall opposite Kissing Rocks, look for a very narrow gulch/canyon cutting into the cliff face. The gulch is so narrow that it's said it only gets one hour of light a day, hence the name, Eleventh Hour Gulch Not too far up the trail you run into this huge ice formation, a large frozen wall of ice. I framed up my shot with Chris in it to give it some scale. Glad I had my ultra-wide on my, shooting in cramped spaces can be tough without one!
