Description
This is my character who is the mother of Yuriko. This has pretty much been my design for her from the start. That first big sketch I don't think came out well, scale wise. Though mind you that was my first sketch of her.She is mentioned in my first comic short. [link]
I wanted to get this design sheet out, because I'm planning some comics with her appearing soon. Often times she winds up being Ashien's straight woman.
Andria left the JSDF (Japanese Self Defense Force) not just because she wanted to have a family, but also she couldn't stand how the military would be used for political purposes.
Andira is pretty much the source of all motherly knowledge for Ashien. As I stated in the past Ashien never thought of being a mother until it happened. In the past she usually avoided children.
Feel free to ask questions about her. Just understand I can't ruin anything too important about her.

It's a graphic computer novel that only those who really look or rather "skim" if you will through anime. As an anime it's more widdelly known as "Fate/Stay Night"

Thanks. Her character is stern, but very kind. One of the things her and Ashien have in common is a love of motherhood.

Not really both of them. Adler's mother is mostly only patient with Adler, because he's her son.

I do like the fact that she's very muscular and yet you still manage to retain, her sexyness (not sure thats a word ???) as a woman.

You know, I'm always worried crazy when someone posts images that big on dA and the net in general... because some people seem to think dA is a place for free art (I'm thinking of a very recent case where a russian publisher stole someone's picture and put it on a book cover o_O She found out by accident only).
.. Sorry, I needed to mention that, because it bugs me so much.. these people!
back to the image! You have quite a nice, balanced style, really.. I'm impressed. it's this mixing of Asian with western style which I see mostly in America or sometimes Italy. I loke cell style shadings, specially since I can't do it at all it always amazes me.
Any critique I have would be style- wise, so that's something that should not be said at all (I don't like people commenting on an artists style ~.~)- Technique- wise as I said you're really good. ^ ^

In truth that image in the original form is a LOT larger. I like this site because it doesn't have size constraints. I actually had someone post a picture of my own on dA and claim it as their own. The moron even left my signature on it.
Also if they used copyrighted images without permission you can make a tidy sum of cash in a lawsuit.
The cell shading style is deceptively difficult. Glad you enjoyed the picture. Really these are just quick sketches put together. I have many more images that are more tuned.

Yeah, the problem is just... if it's someone on dA, they're easy to take down. But if they're someone big- like a company, especially if they're in crazy countries like Russia it's really hard to do. You might even loose in court. (just because they're a company, and you're an individual - okay. But if they're in foreign countries... dangerous. They might even make YOU the bad guy. )
I know, you wouldn't think it... most people assume it's easier than other painting styles, but actually.. no way. I really admire people who can do it.

I caught them and it got taken down. Even if they are a big company copyright is copyright. If you have evidence that it's your image all the lawyers in the world can't help them. That's why on original artwrks I used the limited use icon on those images.

Yeah, that's true.. well, in general.. and if you have money I guess. I'm thinking in America it's easy, but I'm not so sure what it's like if you're a (pretty young) individual and the thief is in a country that has different laws.. but ah well, good for you!

Well, What I haven't pointed out yet was that Andria has never really beat Ashien in sparing. She's small, but very deadly.

I'm surprised no one noticed this, but her hair style makes her look like Nyamo from Azumanga Daioh. Though I'm sure its coincidental. Still good work on this

Yeah I guess the style is rather the same. I think in some ways she is kind of Nyamo kind of character. My character Andria is more of the straight man. The hairstyle is rather common though in anime.
