Reminds me of your own Texas band they used to be called La Cruizadors,later known and still are as Tito and Tarantula , that's El Paso Tito larriva, he was in the Robert Rodriguez Desperado movie with Antonio banderas and Salma Hayek... And is famous for the songs after dark and the strange face of Love and one of their albums is named Andalucia, they're very famous in Europe now they spend more time in Czech republic probably cuz they can drinking absinthe..lol
But another Texas band that became famous in his own right picture reminds me of them because of the location have a great weekend

Yeah I don't know what pulled that altogether for me to start talking about Tito larriva but none the less you're right I think the conquistadors in the whole sound of music and Morocco it all fits in, with latino and I guess even text Mex like Stevie Ray he had a way of twanging those notes...too..."Texas Wind" as it used to be called was the first MJ i ever smoked that got me wrecked like a Charlie McCarthy Dummy , so a lot of good things came from Texas

Lol , my brain, got over texanized , in fact I think it was 1976 or 7 I was down at an old photo shooting studio on North Saint Paul Street in Dallas called "the shooting gallery"....does that ring a bell ? you remember that one? . I just did some assistant work there, lights , darkroom, set ups, running Ektachrome to The Lab, but they had the Neiman Marcus fashion shooting contract so I get to see some really nice shoots out by the old train tracks it's separated Dallas from fort Worth when it was about a 15-mile corridor between the two cities, Bill Sumner, got to try out his 500 MM, F 5.5 Nikon cat mirror on his brand new Nikon f2 s with the motor drive, I think I had this conversation with you once because right around the corner from there was the YWCA which had the best chicken fried steak sandwich I've ever had
