I fight that all the time...my 18 year old who's kind of like my artistic consciousness says (all too frequently) "Dad, your stuff is getting boring..." And she's right. I'm not one of those freakishly gifted people who just seem to see the world differently from the rest of us...I have to work and push and constantly stay on myself to try to envision everything from a fresh perspective.
