Dancing and knitting scarfs is quite the unexpected hobby from a warrior. I would imagine a dancer would have quite an expressive fighting technique. I think it would have been fitting if you drew him/her with a scarf. It would make sense for this kind of character, especially a "smug showoff", who would probably take pride in his/her craft.

The asymmetrical armour design is pretty smart, especially when you have as little armour available to you as this character does. If you were right handed, generally in most fighting stances, you would have your left shoulder facing towards the opponent, and the right shoulder facing away from the opponent, so warriors in ancient times often wore asymmetrical armour, with additional armour on the left side of their bodies, since that's the side that would most often be struck by an opponent.
