What inspired you to create certain patterns or even the work as a whole in general?

hmm for the patterns i tried to keep the swirling, whirlpool theme, which is what uzumaki actually means, not to mention the logo. So basically i kept the patterns look narutoish. as for the other trinkets, i was inspired by another amazing artist (way better than me) who i unfortunately forgot the exact name. lady emmaniel or something like that i believe. the whole point of this drawing was to go against kishi's clean an simple style, adding as many elements as possible.
and i also get inspired by music.

almost everything can sound good and be inspiring at some point, but i mainly listen to anime, game and japanese music. i also prefer those having a touch of darkness or melancholy. XD

This is a beautiful piece of work and I greatly enjoyed it! THe deatail is amazing and I especially like Kyuubi in the background since if flows so well with the rest of Naruto, you can't almost tell it's there! Great work my friend!
PS I was wondering; are you going to color this one like Sasuke's and Sakura?

thanks for the critique! i'm glad you like it. the kyuubi was added because i found the background lacking something lol.
as for coloring, i'm holding back because i still have major issues with the lighting aspect that this drawing would require during coloring. but one day i'll definitely color it
