Hey, i belive this is broken, as i can not view it full size. I see the thumbnail, but when i get here, it will not load. Is there anyway you could please fix this? I adore Duskshipping and all things Karst. Thank you!

Outstanding. The only problem is that Karst's face is a bit odd, as though she's wearing a mask; I can't really pinpoint why this is. Oh, and a semi-gripe is that the "hands are so warm" comment would indicate that Felix had his gloves off, but that's not to say that it doesn't look fine the way it is.
Anyway, quite a heart-rending piece of work, with great accuracy so far as the characters and their outfits. The discarded sword and the shattered bits of ice are very nice touches. The way the characters are posed is very traditional yet effective, and Felix's face is just too much. Those eyes, those tears; it just rips your heart out.
Just recently finished my own Duskshipping work, so I felt the urge to look at what the fanart has to offer. Nice to find such a fine piece as this so quickly.

You can thank me for that, Ol' pal. I commissioned this as a sort of "Cover" for my fic.. Note the bottom right corner. And well, it also doubles as my wallpaper.

Ah, I'd been wondering what that word was there for. I saw this was a commissioned piece, I gathered what your FF dot net identity is from your comments elsewhere, and obviously I immediately recognized that word as the title of your fic, but I didn't manage to put three and three together.
Thinking now that maybe I should commission a cover to one of my fics. In what price range are the rates for that sort of work, anyhow?

I don't know if I should say how much Sketch charged me, since it seems like a kind of personal thing. It wasn't bad though, since Sketchy is a friend from a forum we both use. Not GS related, though. If you really want to know I'll send it to you in a message.
You don't need to commission a WALLPAPER for a cover, though... This is 1920x1080px so it's a little much for just a cover.
Feel free to order from Sketch (forsakendays) though. As you can see, she takes commissions. If you feel like it, I'll link you to her topic in our forums.

Oh, I didn't want you to tell me how much you are charged for this specific one; I'm well aware that wouldn't be ethical. I was just hoping you might be able to give a rough range of what commissions in general go for. No big deal, though. I know a few good artists myself, so I doubt it'll be embarrassing if I should query one of them and then say it's a bit too expensive for me.
