Description Part of the park and the city view before the National Theatre in Budapest, Hungary.
(a Nemzeti Színház Budapesten szerintem szé a színház csak távolról tűnik kuszának.)

I was there to see a play a week ago and wanted to make some great pictures
BUT as it always happens the weather was bad... cold, windy and cloudy
however this was a nice shot because of the light.
(I wanted to make a picture of those three torches at night but we were in a hurry to catch our bus soooooo..... I couldn't)

I have a nice blurry picture of my try thanks to moving my hand and I like that too, so I will post it.

The whole thing is very unusual. I feel you did a great job with this shot, the light shows the white temple very well, to good effect. But why did they build it lying down? Is there a story to the artwork? And the ship/walkway is interesting too.

this is the garden of the New Hungarian National Theatre, built from 2000 to 2002
the National Theatre has a really long and turbulent history (as almost everything here )

I add a link here, if you click 'More' at the bottom you can read about the garden and the history of the theatre in short
[link]

but to sum it up a bit, the garden has representations of theatre history from Greek dramas to modern days that is why there is a submerged Greek temple and lots of statues of characters from plays, writers and actors
(this reply is a bit fat )

there's something very interesting about it, very strange with that parthenon/greek think in the water and the sky. Very nice!!!

You don't really notice it was such bad weather

yes, that is an imitation of a Greek temple in the water and that pointy thing imitates a sailing ship, it's crazy
the garden of the theatre is beautiful, lots of statues and waterscapes
it was a bad weather, but I wanted to make some great sunset pictures, but there was only clouds that night
thanks for the comment

Hey, nice shot, it's an interesting one. I like the color pallette too and how you've captured the sun's rays. I'm assuming the lighting levels are fairly low so holding it steady on a windy day isn't an easy task. The most we could say is try again the next time you go!
