Poor thing has been caught and chained in a cell, awaiting its fate. It's not really a horse, it's a unicorn in disguise. The eye color is supposed to be what gives it away.Prismacolor pencils, graphite pencil, and ballpoint pen.

What is this poor creatures story? I would love to have a little bit of background information on how this one got into this horrible predicament. and yes it is a great pic!

This critter's waiting until its captors decide what to do with it. It was one of a small group that was captured and now they are all being held indefinitely. Some of their captors are afraid of them, and there are rumors of the things these equines can do, so they are taking all the precautions they can. Their captors are mainly human, but unfortunately there are also some other creatures that have taken on human habits and appearances in order to control what happens to these captured equines. These human-like creatures and the unicorns have been enemies for a long time, but with the gradual decline of the unicorn's population and the extreme adaptability of their enemy, the unicorns are dying out and losing.
As you can probably tell, the story needs some ironing out and fixing up

I so understand. I write erotica and have hundreds of pages of short stories that really need to be edited. I absolutely dread it! 
I guess that the fantasy realms need to step up, and create enough unicorns to rectify the balance. I am guilty too, for I created Scythe-the unicorn hunter [link] He will not rest until he has made his kill. But fortunately, he only needs to devour one poor soul a year, in order to subsist.

Ahh yes, the dreaded re-writing. But I guess thats always the way isnt it? You write something for so long n you think its great, then a couple of years later you learn so much n you re-read it n its "eek", but Im sure you'll finish it one day, n it'll be great
