Description This image was developed traditionally in the dark room, I did a bleaching process on fiber based paper, along with kodak sepia toner, then I transferred the image on to fabric, and hand painted it with fabric dyes.

Published in Photo Techniques magazine, in November 2002 Vol.23 has instructions on how to do this.

o0oo feather painting is soooo cool. lol.. I suck with a traditional paintbrush, or well last time I tried I did lol... lovely creation.

Thank you! I am just getting back into some traditional painting. I have stayed away from it to long. But SIGH my photography is better.

totally understand, I used to have a garage FULL of fun, messy, traditional artsy, craftsy stuff that all went the way of the wind in our first move to Alaska. I so get the itch to get messy these days., I even bought sculpty , now.. if only life and my muse would agree simultaneously!! lol

O.M.G. I have a bunch of books on sculpty all the way to doing jewelry. I have them set aside from a garage sale a couple of weeks ago. Would hate to throw them out. Are you interested? You would have to pay shipping though.

I would love them, sadly I have to pass though. Husband got laid off 6 months ago and though he is working again, scrambling to pay back bills and keep mouths fed. Life yanno..
