Place: Barcelona, SpainNote: Sitting at lunch I leaned back and tilted my head with my eyes shut. I opened them and this was my view. This defines looking up from most streets in Barcelona.

Oh, very nice. I appreciate that you've found a view most people don't. It looks very different this way than from the front, I'm sure. I'm not a photographer, but since you have advanced critique encouraged, I would say that there's that one piece of machinery, close to the middle of the picture, that sets off the rest of the atmosphere a tad. It seems to me that this photo shows off great architecture with some history behind it, and the all-too-modern machine distracts from that a bit, so I would suggest trying to get the same angle in a slightly different location to eliminate that hunk of metal. That's really the only problem I could find; all in all, I think it's a brilliant shot.

Thanks heaps for some worth while comments. Yes it is a common comment regarding the mechanical plant (a/c condensing unit) in the shot. I would love to have the chance to shoot the shot again. Pity it is all the way in Barcelona and I am here in Australia. Glad you liked it enough to fav.

Thank you so much mate. Glad you thought it was a reflection of lucid dream state. I love the idea of lucid dreaming but have never been able to make it happen. I read through a lucid dream text online a few times on how to train your mind to fully undertake lucid dreams. I got distracted not long after i started though.
I do have dreams that are semi lucid though. The fun part is making things happen that in normal life are simply impossible.

Gorgeous photo, the repeating pattern formed by the balconies is beautiful. The only thing that is a little bit jarring is that AC-unit on that central balcony, that stands out negatively - but other than that there is nothing to complain about 
The exposure and composition are well chosen.
