Description this is a "zoom shot" I took with my k10d, and then heavily adjusted the colors in photoshop. Zoom shot refers to a technique I read about in "Understanding Exposure" a great photography book for amateurs. The technique requires an camera with a full manual zoom option that can be adjusted during the duration of the shot. Basically you zoom during the exposure to create a vertigo effect.

which brings me to the title.

I was not alive during Woodstock. I only know what I've learned about it from television, history classes, and cd's I've own. That being said.

What an amazing event. My world view unfortunately doesn't not have a lot of faith in humanity. This event is one thing in history that give me hope.

I loveeee using this technique It's hard to successfully take a photo that turns out the way you expect/want but of course, you easily captured an amazing shot, enhanced only by the editing
