Description it's taken me a while to get a new ID up.

this will do I think.
Sometimes I have a beard.
Sometimes I have no beard.

sometimes the thoughts in my head make my face asymmetric.

haha. yeah I will. This spring, while trimming it, the guard popped off my hair clipper and I buzzed down a big chunk. I stared at it for 5 minutes in the mirror trying to think how I could do a beard comb-over, glue the chunk back on, or draw in the missing part with a pen. Eventually I had to shave it off, but luckily it gets to where it is in the photo by two months.

thanks for the support.

To me, your facial features resemble that of an archetypical Cro Magnon; in fact you look abit like SΓ©bastien Chabal. It's a compliment, really.

thank you very much for the collection adds and for the camera advice. I'm fairly certain I will purchase it. I already feel like it's mine, just gotta get the receipt to prove it now.

I'm really happy with it so far, even though it's not technically mine. I'm bringing my old kodak zd710 into work today, I figure I'd be happy to get $50 for that thing, and then I could probably buy this pentax set-up for $425, so $375 total really.

kinda getting sentimental about my kodak though. It's so tiny and simple and yet I got some of my best photos with it. It's the first camera I really started doing "good photography" with. oh well, I'm poor. Can't afford to be sentimental.

I think I've got the manual mode figured out on this pentax. I like how it works. Once I get some money down on it, I'll probably send for one of those cheapy remotes, and another thing that you plug into the camera that you can program to do automatic shoots for you. So you could set it to take a photo every minute, or every 5 minutes for time laps photography, or set it to leave the shutter open for extra time. I've wanted to do one of those neat star trail photos, so with this I could leave the shutter open for half an hour or so.

sentimental's ok...but seriously - get the DSLR!!!! i have never once regreted my purchase!!!! i don't think i know what you're talking about with the startrail pics? could you send me a link to one? sounds cool! seriously, you are so creative. we take pictures very different it seems! you know how to create art with your camera...i wait tell i see it and then capture it it's fun to learn from you!

got $50 for my kodak. now just waiting on the owner, who is out of town, to approve the sale of that camera to me. Employee purchases have gotten really complicated recently.

I know I wouldn't regret the purchase, that's not the issue. I'm sure I want it. I don't know if I have $375 to spare at this exact moment, but as the camera is already in my possession, I'm not too terribly worried about the speed of the purchase, though I would like to call it mine... and get busy buying those remotes.

here are some star trails, you can look some up in the search too, they are ridiculous, but when you spend half an hour or more on a a single photo, they better be.

I'm not so sure about my schedule, but I'm thinking I might get a hold of you sunday night or monday night if that works for you about possibly trying a shot. I'm not sure about it really. I have an idea in my head and I kinda want to enter it in a contest [link] I think I have most of it figured out, but naturally some things won't go as planned, so it might take some work.

wow, those star trails are amazing!! can you imagine if we could find the northern lights up here and do that kind of thing with those?!??!?
Sunday night should work...i'll be in fergus at my aunt's all day sunday water skiing, but i'll come home in the evening..might not be tell later though...would that work? otherwise i work monday night.

I did see this one with the aurora borealis They are really neat, I would really like to try one of these the next time I got home. There are really great places to try it. [link]

possibly sunday night. I don't have to work until 3 on monday. So it might not matter how late it gets. Starting to get cold feet about the shot idea, but still want to try it. Or at least visit for a while, maybe show Romeo my laser pointer.
