You've captured this gorgeous architecture really well indeed and from an interesting and unique angle. Using black and white was the perfect choice for this photograph. I love the shininess of the tiled floor and the reflections in them. Also the person way off in the background is an interesting addition to the composition (if it is a person). Great perspective, tones and depth of field too. Excellent work.

no offense intended -- and this is probably because of all the residual propagandistic representations of russia in film/media -- but i never would've guessed moscow to be so.... spotless.. rather, the scene is magical and the care that goes into this place's upkeep.. its mind boggling. a nice introduction to the place. kudos.

where the money comes from is irrellevant . a subway system which is as extravegant as this could have fed all of the countries poorest for a year ..and longer..easily .. and we in the US are just as criminal ..while more people in Washington DC are homeless in ever growing numbers each day, the Government "of the people" is building monuments which cost billions and planning more each year while our senators congressman and our current and past administrations wine and dine heads of other nations and spend the money of it's "taxpayers" and giving a pittance to attempt to return those who have been set adrift by their policies of excess.. it is " Bread and circuses " all over again.. with every industrialized market driven nation now standing in as Rome and Bush and his allies set up as the Ceasars and Senators of old in new suits..:I wonder how long before the rats will turn and fight.(
