Description Soooo I was just gonna play a random game before bed, and I was not planning on drawing at all, but I walked in the office room, and the light was hitting my fish tank just right and well I just had to sit down and attempt drawing some underwater critters.... Hope you guys like it, even though its not exactly my usual Floof type of work XD

Oh really! What fish do you  have?
We used to have some goldfish when we were young.

DI stands for Destination Imagination. Its a Global competition.
Here is a like to the main site if you wanna learn more: www.destinationimagination.org…
If you dont wanna read all that then you can just read my bad summary XD

So you create a team with a few of your friends and you chose from 6 topics

Technical:The Technical Challenge prompts students to complete tasks by using engineering research, strategic planning and related skills.

Scientific: Our Scientific Challenge blends the research and curiosity of science with the thrill and creativity of the theater arts.

Engineering: Our Engineering Challenge asks teams to design build and test load-bearing structures out of specific materials

Fine Arts: In the Fine Arts Challenge, students flex their acting, research and artistic muscles as they create together.

Improvise: The Improvisational Challenge is all about spontaneity and storytelling. Teams receive topics and produce skits right on the spot.

Service Learning: The Service Learning Challenge is designed to engage students in public service to address real-life community issues.
( I will be honest I copied and pasted that last part from the site XD)

Each of these topics have a different challenge to do each year. You have to solve the challenge and make a play that has something to do with your challenge.

(you can stop reading by now if you got tried XD but here's a few more things about it)

There are 3 competitions:
Regional, Affiliate, and Global!
In Global you do this really cool thing called pin trading and you trade with people from around the Earth which is really cool

There is one more important thing and that is Instant Challenge.  In each competition (if you make it to the next one)
You go into a room and they give you a small challenge (which can range to super easy to really hard like make a bridge out to paper on to basketballs)
You will be given a small amount of time to solve it and will be scored on teamwork and how well you solved the challenge.

And that's all XD congrats on making it this far!

It is a lot of fun but really stressful! I did it the last 2 years but maybe taking a break from it last year because of all the drama my team had together last year XD the first year we made it all the way to global! Last year we got 5th in regional XD

So the first year we chose a Scientific topic which was:

Scientific Challenge, In Plain Sight, teams had to research the many ways that camouflage is used by organisms in nature, showcase camouflage research in the visible appearance of an organism, create and present a story with a plot twist that is caused by the use of camouflage, and apply camouflage methods to an original, team-designed and created set piece or prop.

(I copied and pasted it from this video btw: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oaFhn… (I just dont wanna type this all down XD)(my team isnt featured on this. But I do remember watching some of these teams preform (to see what we are up against))

I was a seahorse who had to camouflage in some coral background! It took forever to make the costume
(because each team has a limited budget and parents are not allowed to help )

Ya! it is a lot of pressure. but i have learned a lot from it! And DI meeting were really fun XD we were so silly last year that our play was about singing ostriches and an evil scientist! I think we were too off topic during last years DI meeting and which cost us from getting some higher points.
but it was really fun XD i remember in the end we have to write down a note/letter thing so the judges would know what to look for. (and because our team manager has been doing DI for a LONG time now) he told us that the judges never read the last page so we put in a little note that said: " Blah blah blah.. but maybe there were some moments where we had to tape someone in the wall." XD which isnt true but our team manager said he was talking to the judges and they didn't even notice it XD
