is that worbla you using? if it is whats the best binder for before you paint the worbla?

For all my armor parts it's always Worbla, yes
The best binder is primer out of a spray can. I know other people using wood glue, though. I don't like working with it, though.

I've done more research and a lot of people like to use gesso, I might use that

gesso needs to dry over 24 hours, so this might be a long process on gesso it.
kamui cosplay doesn't do this she said because of that fact. She uses wood glue.
