History
Ever since she was born, Catia knew she was different and unloved. Her parents had kicked her out after being tormented by their city, all because Catia had the Dead Eye mutation. ((The Dead Eye mutation didn't affect many other creatures, it was a recessive gene that makes the creature have the appearance of a Zombie; removable or faulty limbs and void-like black eyes, they usually are born silver/gray))
After a few years of living alone, Catia met a feline named Quinn who led her to a river and helped her build a city. They began 'collecting' other creatures with the Dead Eye. Quinn soon left Catia, once she was settled as Leader of the new city.
Catia slowly worked a defense military in her city, they would become known as the Protectors of the City. ((Ill add more later))

The Dead Eye mutation is thought of as 'bad' because hundreds of years ago, the 'normal' healthy creatures found out they couldn't use magic, so they were shunned. Magic actually hurts the dead eye, because it can't move through their body like it does a healthy creature, so it was also used in torture against the mutated creatures
