The game is based around mechs and the constant wars through humanity from as early as the 15th century all the way to 3300's. (barely)
Just because it wasn't ever mentioned, It doesn't mean it never happened... for instance no one ever said cars existed in Battle tech. You only ever see it in some few pictures and/or games however games are rarely if ever considered cannon.
The reasoning behind me that cars existed is that in nearly everywhere, including the TT, there are roads and at times trafic lights so I doubt that they made a few lane wide road with specific dirrections for mechs that take up 100% of the lanes.Β
however back to the general 'furry'.Β
Clanners do 'cosplay'
They base quite a few mechs on it.
They attempt to mimic there totem animal. (mech looks, peformance, abilities, etc. good eg is clan ghost bear and the mech "kodiak" "grizzly" "bear cub" and that's just 1 clan out of the 25+. )
If anything the clanners seem more of a die hard furry then 80% of the current real life furries when seeing it in that light.

I am not really mentally challenged.Β My vocabulary and writing... or well I should say typing skills in this context is pretty good for 'internet' standards and even then It's decent for the fact English is my third language. I got no issues to demonstrate, show, or say my thoughts or feelings. However this doesn't remove him from his merits- Game developers and such in the past have personally congratulated him with his theories as they are very close to being correct. For "theories he just pulls out" they do have staggeringly good accuracy in some cases (and with the comment of: "he is just copying an already establish theory!" that isn't a valid counter argument as in some cases he has the only theory for said game. Random guesses do not count as a theory if you hadn't figured out). His backing theory to the Pyro from TF2 being a homosexual male was due to his mental condition. (which is kinda debunked possible as between then and now, Valve released an item which gives pyro in TF2 in the players hands the "Pyro vision" as well as change some of the art assets for his weapon into the bubble blower and other items in his visions. Giving the idea it's possibly Mann co that is manipulating Pyro instead of pyro having said mental problem) as well as his biology as a human...which I guess would only apply if we knew if Pyro is even a human, as none of the TF2 characters such as spy, scout, heavy, etc. know what is pyro to begin with. Just food for thought. So with updated evidence another theory (not by Matpat) debunks it as evidence as to be the goggles changing his vision and conception of the world than a mental problem.

and sure, he does throw lame jokes around, which is obviously intentional. If you want to claim it isn't the occasional animator drawing himself face palming and/or similar responses in other situations as well as the "cricket sounds" after matpat says "Anyone? anyone?" Someone who has extremely dangerously low mental capacity could still find the same sense of humour you or I or anyone has funny, as well as someone with the highest.Β Technically speaking in the UK, there is a relatively high chance that people with poor mental capacity is not even allowed or able to even watch matpat's videos. His matpats videos is nothing more than click bait than it is against the terms and conditions of Youtube. If it was nothing more than click bait than he wouldn't have more than a million subscribers or have this much attention (enough attention to apparently have people who really dislike him enough to jump on people who claim they do like him). Even then with 5+ million subscribers he is obviously not a new channel which got away with clickbait due to being to minor to be seen. So his videos should be flagged and removed every time yes? Oh wait, all of them are still hear... not a single one is removed or deleted. You can try to report every single one as click bait/ false advertising or what ever tickles your fancy. I'll be happy to see your results.

Matpat actually works briefly in the fields of peer reviewed science at times due to some of his research and his recent past, never thrown out for gross misconduct yet- again, you can report him for that to the ministry or science or where ever you see fit to report the violation if you will.

I expect to see that apology written with no vulgar language, references to political leaders such as Hitler, Stalin, or political parties.
