So we got an ask on tumblr (yay!) about who is our favorite character from our City and the Beast novel! (you can send asks too! cityandthebeast.tumblr.com/ask )

And here's the answer:

So it did not take long for us to agree that our favourite character is the Persian sorcerer, no.. the Mongolian shaman, no, wait, the Aztec priest, no, the mysterious beauty during a 16th century revel in Venice....! No, actually, the best American lawyer of the 80s, who will also happen to act exactly the same way as the best lawyer of the 90s... wait, it’s almost as if we write about reincarnating people...! Anyway, Shaazgai is our favourite for sure! And here are just some of his incarnations c:

I will be properly finishing this picture later, I think it can end up being pretty epic c;

Ps. Shaazgai means magpie in Mongolian, it's how he got his name whenhe was a shaman there (he liked all things shiny).

City and the Beast features a lot of mythology, LGBTQ+ characters, fallen stars, eldritch abominations and their timeless guardians, grumpy priests, fancy lawyers

City and the Beast is a story about a thief trying to find the key to getting his life back on track, about a homeless man who wants to stop stealing lives, and about a wayward biker delivering packages for a shady priest. In the streets and docks of New Coalport the business is booming, shadowy figures are lurking, and you get to experience their double-dealings from at least three different perspectives. Who is the beast and who is the man in this city, and do falling stars really bring luck? Do people need ears to hear, and how can a lawyer cause a basement crack? Read and find out!
