Final picture in the "Lads and Ladies" series; I'm glad it can end on a cute one. Although Ringo and Maureen's marriage was not destined to last, the photos I've seen of them together are so sweet. And say what you will about Ringo's songwriting ability, "Octopus's Garden" is an adorable song that can always bring a smile to my face. So I'm fairly happy with this picture, even though it did require me to learn how to draw lowercase letters... which I still think I need to work at. Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy this!

I used to swim a lot, so I know that one thing about being underwater is that your hair goes kind of crazy! It floats around everywhere.

Unfortunately, yes. I'm very sorry. Lots of commission work- Beatles, Hindu gods, other things, and I'm starting university next week... and although I told you that I might like to draw Gibson!John, I'm starting to think it may not happen.

Yessss, here it is! Yay! I think you did the underwater effects very well, both with the tea and the little bubbles. Ringo and Maureen also look very happy and content (in a different way than the others in the other pictures, somehow) which I think fits with the lyrics.
The only thing I'd say I don't like is the lettering. And don't think that you messed up with writing in lower case letters, because that isn't it. That part looks good. I just wish you had used sort of more...variety. All the letters are the same font, same size...

Aww, thank you so much! Such kind words. I wanted to show a sort of carefree togetherness in this, so I'm glad you picked up on that, as I was trying to make each picture match the mood of the song.
I'm not the proudest of this lettering either, but I don't think variations in font style or whatever would make it better. Variations in size would have been an improvement though, I think. Thank you.

It's not that the lettering here is bad or anything, it just seems like the lettering on the others is a lot more sort of...I don't know diverse and interesting.

Yeah, I see what you mean. It was more fancy in "Golden Slumbers", more integrated in the composition in "Here Comes The Sun", and there were lots of different things going on in "I Want You". But to be honest, the fancy letters in "Golden Slumbers" are a lot easier than these more ordinary-looking ones, so it was easier to vary sizes and thicknesses. I guess I'll just have to practice more...
