A gift for one of my cousins, who sadly lost her cat, Loki, recently.

I made the decision to crack on and produce this piece for her since my cousin has been an inspiration to me for the past couple of years. After losing contact since my childhood, we reconnected a few years ago. She has struggled with Borderline Personality Disorder for many years. She had a traumatic childhood, and was for a time in an abusive relationship.

However! After years of perseverance… My cousin is now happily married (to the fella who does my tattoos), and they are expecting twins in mid October! This picture of the late kitty Loki is my way of thanking her for showing me that despite what happens, we will go on. Of thanking her for reminding me of the beauty that surrounds us in this world - even when we feel like all hope is lost.

This picture is basically a massive hug to anyone who has ever loved. Even when you lose someone, there is always a new life, ready and waiting to cross paths with yours.
