nice. really interesting composition. But a pity, that it isnt sharper...and I feel like the structure on the skin is...lost...did you retouched the skin?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

floydthebarber71 In reply to Moramarth [2009-02-22 21:51:22 +0000 UTC]

yeah this was cropped from a larger photo, so it wasnt that clear in the first place. i then made a lot of things glowy, etc, so it disguised it a bit more. unfortunately the initial image did not have the clarity

What a great image! I love the urgency in this, and the use of B&W to really bring the image out. I love how shocked the guy looks too. Its like he just turned around and is like "oh crap".
The water is really dynamic and the composition is well done, good job again mate!

woah thanks for the comment! yeah the moment worked out well....the b/w is cool with the sea, and i was trying to get it looking like the other photo i submitted [link] but this one here lacks clarity and thats a pity :/

I like it. It keeps its own sense of mystery, even though the image is 100% all you need to see in order to understand it!

wicked composition, shame it's not a bit sharper, but the picture is still pretty impressive

floydthebarber71 In reply to Jonnyzi [2009-02-19 11:03:27 +0000 UTC]

haha yeh i did it because i thought it was quite funny, so just made things glowy without worrying about the sharpness since this was cropped from a larger photo...i'll worry about it next time i guess

Jonnyzi In reply to floydthebarber71 [2009-02-19 11:05:52 +0000 UTC]

the overall effect of the image is more important than sharpness anyway, hubert cumberdale
