I've got shit loads of time on my hands right now, just no camera. I might crack out an old analogue pentax my grandfather used to use, see what I can do with it

Oh, that must really suck. I like analogue better though.. Since it's the only way I can decide where I want the focus.
New digitals cost a fortune. My older brother got himself one. I am so jealous.

It does indeed suck. But although I love analogue, I'm reluctant to crack it out, as I hate dealing with the proccess of getting it printed and everything. If I had the facility to do it myself, I'd be more inclined to. As for the digital camera, I've told myself that if I find a nice job that I like, I'll reward myself by buying the camera (oh, and some new microphones. Can't have enough microphones...).
And you should blatantly steal your brother's camera

Well, I'm too. It takes such long time and I can't do it myself either which result in that it cost a lot of money as well.. But anyhow.. if it's all that you've got to photograph with I would settle with it. At least for a while.
