Soo... initially she was so supposed to be for the Hair contest going on over at Alternative Pixels, but I realized (after finishing her) since I'm not a member of the group + I'm not exactly an established doller, I'm not sure if I'll be able to enter her.She's pretty nifty, regardless, and I worked on her extremely hard, so I suppose that counts for something. *deflates*
EDIT: Okay! Tweaked a little bit with the helpful advice ~Cedars-Sloth and ~Axari-art gave me. I toned down the purple in the skin a bit and added some asymmetry to her piece over-all. I'm sure it doesn't look much different but I feel a lot more confident about her now. Thanks ladies. C:

Ohhh, how lovely is that hair! I love your shiny shading and the cacti are magnificent.
One thing I'd probably suggest is a tad less shadow in the skin, though the pallet in general is very appealing.
I also dig the folds in her shirt. Basically, I agree with Leigh anddddd you should tots join and enter her in. :>

Funnily enough, that's actually not supposed to be legitimate skin shading. C: It was just supposed to be on her cheeks, but I think I got a tad carried away. I'll keep that in mind for next time though.

Oh, really? Haha, my bad then. Yeah, I guess I thought of them as like, cacti with weedy bits and then the flower being the cacti flower on top. xD WHATEVER IT IS, IT'S BRLILIANT.
Ahhh okay! Well, I do like the color it gives to her face. It suits with the rest of her shades, really well. :]

I really like the hair, so beautiful colour and shading! However, it's very obvious that you just did one side that you copied and flipped for the other side - just a couple of differences would have been nice

Re-commenting! I added some asymmetry to her in general (I tweaked her eyes, the highlights, the outline of the hair and I added some difference to the flowers.) Does that seem a little better?

I actually didn't do that for the entire thing! Just the hair. I admit I got lazy, but that happens on a touchpad in a glitchy program. It took me a good three or four hours just to do that side of the hair. ^^ Thanks though!
