A very old water painting...A little birthday gift for my dear friend Teresa

when we stop on the shore
...people are leaving
gazing on the horizon
bringing us thoughts of drifting...
the sea always brings us a little fear
-for the idea f too much freedom.
The seafarer goes
where his heart pleases
even if apparently
he does not know, where.
Us, prisoners from the cities,
we always live -today
and yesterday is nailed from reality
people are dying of nostalgia,
but, when the seafarer comes back,
after a day, dies the desire
to go away..."
