had some fun rendering snow today! and by fun I mean it managed to distract me from playing flash games so it came out nice. plus I used a reference image so I remembered that snow is white and absorbs color a bit so I put some blue in there and !!! moment. I am very happy with it!this character's named Shay! you may remember them if you've been here awhile in which case they look way different now!
the story they're in probably would function best as an RPG but that means I would have to learn how to make pixel art. which I'm not opposed to... I like long work to do and all that but I like a bit of fluff- in my art. how to translate fluff into pixels feels like secret techniques but I am not easily deterred! i've got bigger projects in my future, things man! stuff. I dunno i sound like i did on my old DA when i just- lol here's plot exposition bye. which I still do, but only for interest and all. and I leave out the big chunks of the plot so. yeah. I suck at naming things so I'm just gonna refer to this baby project as "August has a story as a character and isn't just a random selectively mute merchant" or ASCIJRSMM. it's a working title. August is probably gonna be the character you play as. oh, wait hold on snow days is a nice title for this that sounds cute. let's call it snowdays instead.
