I had serious problems with this one, I couldn´t get her to fit...well...I´m still not completly happy, but it can do...I hate it when I want to do stuff and my lack of skills in Photoshop is ruining my intentions!girl

That is really beautiful! So what exactly do you want to change? And how did you get the red dress to look like a painting?

well, in the original pic the model is sitting in stairs, so when I had cut her out, the dress was very straight in the edges, and the rocks was smaller than I had thought, I HAD to have her exactly there, because otherwise her right arm would not fit the upper rock. So in order to make her look like she was actually sitting sort of ON the rocks but still "among" them if you get me, I had to do something with the dress, she looked like she was floating above, it didn´t look natural. So I had to smudge the edges on the dress on the right side to look like it was flowing over the rocks, and to manage that I also had to use my wacom, and trust me...I suck at drawing! I simply had to draw som folds on the dress so it didn´t look so "smudged" hehe, and I used the dodge and burn tool a LOT to get many shadows and highlights to sort of draw attention away from my catastrophic drawing and smudging hehe...I like to make it look painted, makes me feel like a pro haha! So I selected the dress and blurred it and put it to overlay, about 70% opacity...and of course some color adjustments and make-up and such..I just wish I could have thought of something else than the smudging, it´s rarely a good option for me, I can´t handle that tool very well...I know I´m a bit picky too, but I can see ALL my faults hehe...And I am my own worst critic!

Pretty cool; it wasn't obvious to me that it was a shoop until I looked at her right hand. You might try burning it a little bit towards the shadows to make it look a little more natural, or else paint over it with black at maybe 10% opacity.

I tried burning her hand a bit, I should have used the paintbrush though, her hand looks dirty like this hehe...and also I had to smudge the dress a LOT because it looked really bad with her tucked between the rocks..you have no idea how many hours I tried to make it look right...I should have chosen other stocks to help with that, but my patience is waaay to low to make more advanced settings..hehe..gotta work on that though!
