This piece immediately caught my attention since the moment I stumbled upon it. The thumbnail intrigued me since it does not show what this piece is about and in order to truly appreciate this work, one must click the thumbnail and full-view it (and that is a good thing!).
The work itself is quite well-done! The perspective you have chosen is very interesting and it could be a bit hard to pull it off. But you did a wonderful job with it! It gives the viewer a sense of suspense (that rhymed 
The manipulation technique, in my opinion, is great. Everything looks so good together; you did a nice work with the blending. The lightning and the shadowing is amazing as well so I congratulate you for that!
The bird on top (I believe it is a eagle!) is a wonderful touch and it really complements the whole idea of this piece. It shows a connection to the nature and, for some reason, it makes this piece a whole lot more 'realistic'.

THANK YOU so much for your long review of this piece!! I feel very honored, and happy, that you like it, especially since it's a kind of style I have never tried before and really like! I try sometimes to test new tecniques and diffrent areas outside my comfort zone, because I need to feel that I evolve as an artist and I really want to move forward and don't want to stand still in the area that I already "know" so to speak! I am more happy then you'll ever know that my try outside the box actually was a good one, and it also makes me confident to try it out once again!!

Like the "otherworldly" nature of this and your use of light and shadow - and the bird is a nice added touch IMHO

Tack hjärtat, ja jag tog bort alla bildsajter deviantART, Flickr, RedBubble, Picasa, Saatchi och tog även bort FaceBook. Allt på en och samma destruktiva eftermiddag.... Men nu är jag tillbaka, saknade alla goa vänner och naturligtvis saknade jag dig mest av allt goa gumman
