Description NPC suggestion. Totally. PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO RECRUIT POKEMON OTHER THAN ADOPTION OR EGGS!

Corvo the honchkrow is the head of the operation, or the head honcho, you could say.

For pokemon interested in joining an existing pokemon team, he records their name, abilities, and personality under the guild they're interested in. Teams already in a guild come to him to check out the pokemon interested in joining. It works out for everyone; the pokemon joins the team, the team picks the pokemon they think suitable for the job, they meet, Corvo gets his money. Oh, and his assistants get their paychecks. Yeah, yeah.

1. Aloysius "Jackdaw" the murkrow records names of pokemon interested in joining a team of the rogue guild, and schedules a time for their interview with Corvo. He also writes on the flip side of the board pokemon looking for an extra team member. He's pretty serious about his job, but can be a jerk face.

2. Monotoli "Dodo" the murkrow writes up pokemon interested in being merchants, and names of teams looking for another member so they can be scheduled to talk with Corvo about finding one. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's the most honest, helpful murkrow you'd ever find. He also has an incredibly annoying lisp.

3. Beauregard "Rook" the murkrow is a carefree, fun-loving pokemon with anything on his mind but his job, which he's somehow kept for years. He jots down the names of pokemon looking to be rescuers, and pokemon looking for another friend. When business is slow, he flies around the room or plays cards with Dodo and Jackdaw. Possibly the only reason Corvo hasn't fired him is because how much clients love him.

4. The board is where pokemon's names are written that want to join a guild, and on the reverse side, teams that want a new guild mate. Sometimes pokemon are unsure of the guild they want to join and their name is written between the two guilds they can't decide on. It is uncommon that pokemon can't decide between rogue and rescuer, because of the guilds' dramatically different views, and even more rare that a pokemon can't decide between any of the three guilds. When something like that happens, the murkrow that client first talked to writes a note and tapes it to the top of the board for Corvo to see later.
Scheduled times to meet Corvo and be interviewed (as well as times to look over recruit files and meet the new teammate) are written here.

5. Behind the board is this door, which opens to reveal a ladder to Corvo's office. The board is flipped sideways so a pokemon with an appointment can walk under and climb up the ladder to meet Corvo.

6. The building of Corvo & Co. Note that the door above the brim of the "hat" leads directly to Corvo's office, and only he and flying type clients use it.

7. Corvo's office is where Corvo assesses a potential recruit's strengths, weaknesses, personality, overall stats, and of course, gender. He also secretly writes down quirks such as nose picking or incessant scratching. He keeps recruit files in the file cabinet, which has a drawer for each guild. Teams are invited to look through these, although for the sake of privacy, names aren't mentioned until a team meats the recruit(though species are mentioned). Corvo sometimes recommends a certain pokemon to join a team based on types and abilities, so your team is balanced. No, Corvo doesn't smoke. I was being silly when I drew that picture.

8(not pictured). Like evolution and accessories, for participating in certain events or missions, you can get a voucher in the form of a gray feather for merchants, a black feather for rogues, and a white feather for rescuers. Upon presentation to the murkrow representing your guild, it will be confiscated and you will have the option of adding a new team member. If you save up three feather-vouchers, you may recruit a pokemon that has evolved once, such as pidgeotto or grovyle, but pidgeot and sceptile are unable to be recruited (two stage evolutions such as Noctowl and primeape can be recruited).

9(not pictured). You can't recruit any pokemon you want; each guild will have a couple types available to be recruited and a handful of pokemon other than those, which change periodically as pokemon are recruited and new ones sign up.

ANYWAY. From the beginning of the group I was excited to build my team and recruit new members...and...well... There didn't seem to be any way to recruit members into your team other than adopting or hatching from an egg. I'm interested in recruiting pokemon that are Tei and Oregano's age and level, like, characters that appear in comics and later are interested in joining. The fact that other than your original two (or one) members, the rest of the team is younger, and essentially adopted children. I liked the recruit system in the games :) Suggestions or ideas about things I might change are welcome, but not necessarily used.

TL;DR PLEASE spread this around if you are interested in recruiting members to your team other than eggs or adopted pokemon.

I was just think about how it is lame that you can only get pokemon that are younger

I know, right? Even if this idea doesn't become canon, I seriously want them to give us away to recruit older members.

Great idea! Works in well for another way to add members- shake it up a little, get away from adoptions once every two or three events

Please! I want to have my third member I've planned since Mission 1 time. She's perfect to balance the three.

And the characters are cool too!

Yes. I've already shaped her character perfectly with advice from a friend and I just really want her to be part of it.
