Hehe. A kiss is okay anyway, because a kiss can mean so many different things between beloveds. :3

However otherwise, I love how the fact they've not kissed yet.
Besides it makes sense. What with Hitori who's so young (about 14, yes?) and Yato who...
Well, I can think of four possibilities for Yato: 
1° He is afraid of being rejected
2° He doesn't want to alter Hyori's innocence,
3° As a kami, he consider romance as an optional side dish of True Love since their relationship is already so implicitly deep and has been proved more solid even that it appeared.
4° Yato is 99,5% asexual and knows it: he's obviously romantically interested in the manga, and emotionally in love in the anime but whenever he tries something, it's never quite sexual...even the moment in the anime when he rubs against Hyori and she get embarrassed/bothered whatever
5° Kamis don't understand romance at all. 

Personally I'd prefer option 3. ^^

I agree with many of your points. I don't really look for the physical part. But I don't like the fact that hiyori and yatos dad have kissed but her and yato haven't xD That got to me a tad

I hear you! This was annoying! I wish they would kiss too, if only for that reason! So that would erase the memory of her stolen first kiss. The anime has been such a tease about that in the Copypasta park! Why di they tease us like that? It's so cruel...

I-I haven't read the manga past the point the anime stopped because I didn't want to spoil myself. So I haven't read the moment Yato find out (...I'm a little sad that he does because it must seriously hurt) about her first kiss. Is it far ahead? Should I spoil myself? (Or maybe you might just give me a little hint so I can patient more.) :>

By the way, you know, since I discovered Noragami through the anime and there is less detail in there, at first, because of the way they draw her face, her height and how she behaves more coherently, not trying to punch him for about anything there, I really assumed that Hyori was about 17 or 18, possibly even in college when she met Yato, and when I found out she was supposed to be a middle schooler, it kind of broke my word. XD 


(From there on I decided that as long as her anime version doesn't behave like her manga version, she could remain eighteen in my headcanon...?  
Because...y'know...it's kind of different if she's younger; because if it seems like...like she can't really answer Yato's emotional needs if she is not even mature enough to face romance when he over hundred of years old.

From the anime alone, I thought she was well aware of her feelings but just decided not to insist or want to act on them out of courtesy because, y'know of how Yato's not human and he might not be interested. I even though the was asexual...I didn't know. But for some reason I even felt that was romantic, that it made their relationship deeper, more special. ...Now I know why. T_T And I don't know how to feel about it all. 

...I know a part of Yato is still a child, and so he would feel a kindred soul in a girl about his age (after all he's got kind of an androgynous mind for a guy) But since that part of him is even more childish than Hyori herself...I'm still not sure of how it can work for them.
...I mean if they are both so fragile and innocent, then there are so many was to break them apart, it's frightening. D: Oh, Yato...~)

Last episode of the first season, not at the very end, though. 
... This is probably the most...sensual thing they've done together in all the shows.

And that's especially uber glorious in a way! (And I love Hiyori's face. And I agree with Yato's means. xD
...this kind of looks like sort of..."dubcon-asexual-stuff-thingie" XD It fits their relationship and positions so well for so many reasons~ ... But I would so much like it if Hiyori did this to him in Season 3!

They're so cute it hurts and it's not even funny anymore, anyway.
