Description First drawing for my RP with ~MidnightAngel013 This was going to be for my #The-Hidden-Key assingment, but it ended up not meeting the requierments for that yup so heres the rp

Badiri padded near the Tribe of Crooked Tree's Border, next to his tribemate Akili. He paused, raiseing his head to check for any who may have crossed the border. So far nothing much had happened, since they had left the camp.
Looking across the border Badiri watched for any sign of other cheetahs.

Akili flicked her tail as the group of cheetahs padded side by side. She silently used her gift, the gift of sound, to check for any danger that could be nearby. As always, she kept her head forward and eyes focused on the ground in front of her. Less talking meant less embarrassment. Her blue eyes flashed as her gift stopped, leaving her ears to feel like they were closing in on themselves and folding away the sounds that echoed from unseen places. She blinked and shook her head slightly, letting her senses hone back on the land that she could see.

"hear anything?" Badiri asked, turning to face the she-cat while still continueing along the border. Though Badiri hadnt hoped for any fighting between Tribes, he had hope that on this patroll there would be somthing intresting.

"No, nothing yet." She said quietly, eyes searching the rocky terrain of her tribe land. As the cats moved along the hot ground, she stole glances at her tribmate every now and then. The silence was deafening. Akili flicked her ears as she caught sight of a herd of wildebeests that were grazing on the land ahead of them. "Should we...?" She started, remembering they weren't exactly out on a hunting patrol.

"Sure" Badiri nodded, perhaps it was ure that they were on an asigned border patroll, and yet, since there was nothinghappening just on the border a hunt was definatly welcome. It seamed that in this heat Badiri's stomach was never full, and when prey was so close, as well as so ablivious to their presence, who could resist a hunting break? "Prey is always welcome" Badiri laughed as he turned to face the wildebeasts.

Akili smiled softly, almost absently. "Alright then. Tactics?" Her blue eyes scanned the rocky terrain, focusing on the herd members. "How about you startle them and I'll trail them and we'll decide which one we can take?" Her calloused paws itched to run, nothing made her happier than to have something to run for. She looked to her tribemate to ask their opinion.

"Sounds good," Badiri replied while nodding "Ill wait for you to get into possition before i start the chase." He then began to pad to a good place where he could see the whole tribe as well as where Akili might choose for her hidding place. He spotted a small elderly one just at the edge of the group, his legs seeming to wobble with age as he followed his herd.

Akili nodded and pushed her body close to the ground. Her ears pressed back against her skull, she slunk towards the herd. She noticed that her tribemate had his attention on one of the wildebeests near that back of the herd. He teetered and wobbled able to stand on his hoofs. She let a smile pull at her lips as she waited for Badiri to rush the herd. Her strong muscles bunched up, tail flicking as she waited to bolt forward.

Badiri felt streangth rush into his hind legs as he sprinted forward, well award of where his tribe mate was waiting as he led the elderly wildebeast strait for her hidding place. He could feal his claws raking the rouge surface of the dry ground, kicking up dust in doing so.

With a screech that ripped through her chest and throat, Akili sprung from her hiding spot and straight into the path of the elderly wildebeest. Her lips pulled back in a snarl and her claws slashed the air in front of her as she hissed a challenge. The wildebeest bleated and spun around, almost collapsing from his momentum. Akili pursued it, and it was almost too easy to catch up to it. She lunged for it's neck, gripping fast with her teeth. Her claws sunk into its skin and she struggled to pull it down and bite into it.

Badiri leapt onto the wildebeats back helping her to restrain it as she gave the killing bite. Once its struggles stopped he took a step back, nodding to the shecat to take the first bite. "You caught it you get first bite." He said kindly.

"Oh, thank you." She dipped her head in thanks and bent her head, powerful teeth tearing into its flesh. She ripped through a chunk of meat and pulled her head hard, detaching it from the corpse. She worked her jaws, grinding it and swallowing. She nodded to Badiri, "Please, feel free to eat some too."

Badiri nodded as he dipped his head and also took a bite, chewing carefuly and savoring the flavor as he swallowed and took another bite "deliciose" he mummbled as he continued to eat. He couldnt remember the last time he had eaten and the feel of having prey in his stomach was great.

Akili smiled and nodded, mouth full of meat. She was thinking about how long it had been since she had tried to make a new friend. It didn't help that she was extremely shy so this was a great chance to get to know another one of her tribemates better.

After a few more moments of eating as much as he could Badiri sat back, licking his jaws clean as he looked at Akili. "Best we continue on the patroll?" he asked as he stood and streched out his back., now that he was refreashed he felt that he could run the width of the border no problem.

Akili nodded, rubbing her paw around her muzzle to clean the blood off. The slender she cat worked her way to her feet, he long limbs stacking on top of each other until she was on all fours. She padded next to Badiri. "Let's head out."

Badiri rose his mussle again as they now once again padded along the Crooked Tree border. There was no scent on the breeze as he did so, well, other than the herd of wildebeasts and their fear scent. Turning to Akili he looked at her for a few moments, then looking away quickly, blushing as he realised what he had just done would seem foolish as he continued along the border.

Akili kept her head straight but caught a glance of Badiri. Her mouth pulled slightly up in a smile, but she turned her eyes to the land ahead of her. "It's quiet today." She commented after a long time of silence. She looked out over the boarder which seemed deserted. Usually she could pick up some activity on the other side.

"yea." Badiri nodded, realizing that they were nearing the end of the border. "but i guess that in a way thats a good thing huh." he said as he continued to walk.
