Meet Kahn, my first true Dark Unicorn (=Equatra) with a tangible mane!
He's the mate of Zephyra and a true Equatra in looks and personality!--------HorseArt Info-----------
Name: Kahn Starnight Sire: ? Dam: ? Mate: Zephyra Shimmermare (flareandicicle.deviantart.com/… ) Lineage: Starting stallion - Fullblooded Dark Unicorn/Equatra Size: 15 hh/152 cm Coat: Homozygous black (so will only give black gene), with a Gradient Paint in his colour (=blue ). His Gradient-Paint includes the rare starry-roan gene (this gene can be coupled to a paint gene or can be a single gene in itself). On top of this he's a minimal zebra-paint.Any scars he's got that are healed grow a very fine layer of turquoise downy fur.
Personality: Over 100 years old, he's a veteran Equatra and has got the scarring to show for it. Never having lost a fight in his long years, he's had quite a few mares, but now that he's (slightly) mellowed with age, he is devoted to his true love; Zephyra. He (nor she) won't mind the occasional flirt with another equine though 
Despite his high age, he hasn't lost anything in strength or stamina, being stronger than ever and still spoiling for a fight with any stallion he meets.
With mares he can be gentle or tough; it all depends on the preferences of the mare
He's not very affectionate to his foals (as is Equatra-stallion nature) but will do just about anything to protect them until they can protect themselves.
Other: Because he's over 95 years of age, he's grown a goatee. Goatee's are exclusive in Equatra stallions (meaning mares never develop them), but not every stallion develops one. Discipline: Rodeo at best - no-one has managed to stay on top of him longer than a few seconds

And yeah, I'm really glad as well, cause I wanted him to be a proper Equatra, which meant scars for someone his age... but the skin-coloured scars didn't look good and then I suddenly remembered our conversation
