24x18" - Vine CharcoalHowdy everyone!
I know that I market myself as a vector artist/animator, but that doesn't mean I still don't have the foundational skills in place to create some fancy fine art. ^^ This piece was created during my stay at the Savannah College of Art & Design for my Life Drawing class back in 2009. We were required to create a piece that included a self-portrait of our face, hand, and foot. So, logically, I decided that my ligaments had turned against me!

How in the name of celestia did you manage to self portrait your hand, your foot and your face at the same time in that angle? That would require some serious yoga.

i cringe when people said charcoal... i did some homework whit it no lonng ago, nothing fany, but it was hell...

You put a lot of character into this. I've seen a lot of self portraits in this day, but most of them aren't nearly this much fun!
