Description If you have seen this before, then it is likely that you visited my brother's ( ~P0RG ) site, as he posted it because I quickly forgot about it. (insert traditional blather about siblings here) Anyhow, I got a request to post more stuff from the people who looked at the image, so here it is. I focused particualy on the lighting to get a real look (or semi-real depending on how critical you are).

For those interested in the technical side, I used an HDRI image (just type it into google to get an idea) which I think has turned out nicely. As always, constuctive critisism is welcome, as I need to work out if the image looks a bit too blue, or whether it is fine as it is.

Tried, and got confused with the interface. Still getting to grips with C4D!

Yeah maya may seem daunting at first but it's actual potential exceeds almost all of the other packages.
And besides you get used to it

I used Cinema 4d, but the setup is probably very similar. You have no lights in the scene, but you have a great big sphere that goes around it all. You then set the sphere's texture to nothing apart from luminousity, and load the HDR Image into the luminousity channel, and enable radiosity on good quality for the entire scene. Here's the tutorial that I followed: [link]
