So... Youmacon was pretty wonderful, merely because of the gloriousness that is One Piece. I had a really wonderful time with errybody, and this is probably my favorite picture from the whole shoot. Inspired by the hilarious scene from Amazon Lily in One Piece.Myself as Boa Hancock

Amazon Lily itself is my favorite arc in One Piece, and the "family jewels" scene was one of the best by far XD

That part of the Amazon Lily story was beyond hilarious..
"Family Jewels" ...Luffy earned a shit-ton of my respect since the fact he can say it with a straight face and not be embarrassed in front of ladies.
Sanji probably would have shishkabobbed him hearing that he did THAT.

I know, right? I have something of a fascination with the concept of matriarchal and female-centric societies, so that whole arc was a nice little sociological commentary that I really enjoyed, despite the many, many questions left unanswered (if there are no men how are there babies? It seems to me that none of them know what men are, so they must have been born/raised in the society of Amazon Lily, but how did they get there in the first place?). Still, it's a wonderful arc with another glimpse into the wonderfully varied art style of Eiichiro Oda (Oda: consistent body anatomy? EFF THAT NOISE, I'MMA DRAW GIANTS LOLOLOL~) and the faces..... oh the faces..... if there's one thing Oda knows how to do in the most wonderful of ways, it's faces 8D
Aaaand I've kinda got a tremendous fanboy crush on Boa Hancock, but that's irrelevant :T

Haha, I'm actually the same way. I've always been interested in the Amazoninan societies of Grecian times. And I love how One Piece always manages to make some small social commentary in most arcs. Oda is a genius, I swear.
And I'm sure they just did what the Amazons did: either go out into the world, and come back preggers, and if it was a boy, return him to the world, or kidnap men and keep them on the ships.
Oda's art style is so glorious XD. Whenever I was showing my mom pictures of Boa, she'd always comment on Sandersonia and Marigold. And Hancock's angriest moment in her life is probably my favorite. One of these days I shall attempt it.
And she's prolly my favorite female in One Piece, so it's understandable.
