My mom had one of those in our garden when I was a kid. We lived in the northeast so it never got very big. I had my first experience of seeing one in its full glory in AZ a few years ago. I never knew they could grow so tall.

Yeah! they can get pretty big. This one had flowered like 3 years ago, but it was really pretty when it happened, I wish I had pictures.
