Here is the completed Saicurtis model. If he wasn't my first Zoid, and held a special place in my heart, I would have just done a scrappy job on him, since the head crest and wings have curves that I find to be very difficult to model.Nonetheless, here he is in all his buggy glory!

My first ever Zoid was a Spinosapper, it's always held a special place in my heart, so I know how that feels. I put a lot more time into my new Spinosapper of my new collection when compared to my other similarly sized Zoids.
Anyway, this looks awesome. I've always liked the Saicurtis, and most bug type Zoids for that matter.
Since you seem to prefer smaller Zoids with not many curves, you ever thought of modelling a Barigator? I reckon that'd look sweet.

I do have a Barigator, and I just recently found the rest of his tail in my move, so yes, I will be modeling him, probably sometime this fall once classes start back up again.

That's the joy about modeling. All of my models are fully pose-able and will eventually be animated in at least one video! So to answer your question, both.
