hm, not to be a jerk or anything, but I like doing vectors, and this looks like a Cutout filter, Filter > Artistic > cutout, i did it with same type of image, using smeagol, and it looks exactly same....

nah mate, it's a vector image. Not sure what a trace bitmap is, but I worked from light and shadow not from the configuration of individual pixels. (if that makes any sense...?)

To me, it looks alot like a filter run on a screenshot (ie. the cutout filter in Photoshop or trace bitmap in Flash). But maybe I'm wrong. If you did all of that work, kudos to you.

like said on the other one, it's not a filter...The cutout is much less clean, give it a try sometime, all the edges are sharp...Check out the curves, they wouldn't be generated by a filter, I think.

Oh I have... I've used the cutout filter in Photoshop, the Trace Bitmap feature in Flash and Autotrace in Illustrator... If you work with the settings in any of those programs, you could create smooth curves...
I'm not accusing you of doing that... what I'm saying is that it looks like that. If you did it, and you know you did it that's good enough. No one cares what I think.
At the end of the day, you'll do what you want to do and you are justified in doing so. It's a free country that I live in and there's plenty of room on dA for everyone.
