about: the forever baby of the family. very sweet, gentle, and soft-spoken, though also bookish, inexperienced, and awkward.

wonder is named after her very existence. though combining genes through a spell to create a child is common, it has never been done before with a whopping Six parents' genes. twilight spent years perfecting the spell, and her hard work paid off when a delightful, sweet, yet very sickly little foal was crafted.

wonder had a dozen health problems when she was born that still persist, including the inability to use complex magic, fly, near-blindness, and other more specific infant problems like RSV and spina bifida. she was nursed back to health with the help of ponyville's best doctors, but the long-term issues like inability to use magic and fly will likely stay with her for her whole life. she is around the age where she should get her cutie mark, but most around her sort of doubt that possibility. wonder doesn't let any of this get her down in the slightest, though. she seems to want to try everything out herself to find out her own destiny instead of waiting for a magical mark to appear on her flank.

the idea of destiny seems to be a big deal to wonder. alicorns aren't really born, they're made, so she sometimes feels a lot of pressure to become something great and find out her purpose in life.

with strong support from her moms, siblings, and with her own bulletproof determination, she never falters in asking for help when she needs it, and never gives up on her problems.

she's often seen at the school of friendship, especially in the library. she's inherited twilight's intense love for reading, and adores fantasy books. wonder loves making art, too; the castle is plastered in her paintings of sword-wielding dragons and beautiful princesses.
