Description
At the very foot of the "Big Buddha", on Lantau island, Hong Kong, there is a paintings exhibition made by masters (?? there were no more explanations!). Photos were forbidden and -for once- I hadn't my watercolor box...
And there was this painting of a praying monk... So beautiful. His face was so quiet and yet so happy. I drew it, but the result is crappy compared to the original one. I re-drew it and added colors the evening after. It's not exactly like the original but I kinda like it. This is a closeup on the face, later, I will post the "whole monk" (but I prefer this one!).
