I'm sorry. I couldn't resist. It was just too good a pun opportunity to waste
A red gladiolus (or "glads" as some call them) from my yard. It looked more heart-shaped from the angle in another photo I took, but this photo had better quality. This past spring I planted at least two dozen flower bulbs that had been sitting in my garage for a year. I was doubtful that any of them would still bloom, but sure enough, this one did!

Okk, that was going to be a serious comment, but it veered off into punland from which there is no return, so I'll just say that the color of this is amazingly beautious. Good use of camera and whatnot
