This is some gorgeous work. I love the almost-quaint, almost-exhausted afternoon mood of the picture overall - the color scheme of near sepia, the blurriness or broadness of the strokes that hide and yet hint at detail such as where the wall has crumbled or the stains under the windowsills or the engravings on the fountain. City scenes, whether real life or art, rarely strike me as attractive, but this one definitely does it. The little details of the birds and fountain contrast with the rest of the scale, while also make me think about the bird's-eye vantage point. Mechanically speaking, the perspective is very well done and the shading is subtle but just right.
Korean on the signs. I'm an amateur and can't make out enough, though the one in the distance just right of center looks like "Hanguko" ("Korean language")
