The wedding isn't until next year but I'm trying to get things done sooner rather than later to avoid it sneaking up on me. Chances are this may get redrawn depending on my art skill improvement in the next 12 months.This is going to be made into a wooden standee to go on top of our cake. Despite having our colour scheme for the day (purple and ivory) the outfits are NOT inspired by our own - I went out of my way to make Fishie's dress not like my own dress as my partner will not be seeing it until the day, instead she is wearing something inspired by my cousins wedding dress (the first wedding I ever went to - and I got to be a bridesmaid!)
The pose was inspired by and referenced from a vector by @benybing
When this eventually gets made into the standee I'll post photos.

This is so cute and congratulations how many of your other fans know I can't be the first to comment on this really have people sent you notes I wish you and your partner the best of luck and please please send pictures of the cake topper to your deviantART profile after the wedding please I haven't seen a MLP cake topper ever and I don't think anyone else has so you might be the first to do so great job on possibly being the first hope you have a great party / wedding!!! ^-^

Thank you! A lot of people know since we've been engaged for a while now but finally getting the ball rolling on getting everything arranged for next year - there will definitely be some photos uploaded! When the topper gets ordered I'll be getting some nice photos of it as well. I've seen a few MLP toppers around (I did a lot of research haha) but most have been custom painted figures rather than drawn artwork
